1,what about your self?
I am Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy. Although I am now Oktay 、Yıldız Çağrı Oktay . I have been acting for 17 years. I have been involved in many TV series projects since 2005. Now I am giving life to the character of malhun hatun in the establishment osman series.
2,How did you start acting?
I started acting at a very young age. At the age of 13, I signed up for the agency. At that time, I was both taking acting training and going to small commercial shoots. But the turning point of my life actually started when I settled in Istanbul in 2005. From that date on, I started to take a more active role in TV series. But the interesting thing is, when I fell in love with acting, I don’t remember the moment when I said ok I decided to become an actor. It was as if I had this feeling since the moment I was born, life pushed me on this path. It was as if this profession was coded in my soul. Ever since I knew myself, I always wanted to act. I never thought of another profession. I have always followed this path.
3, What did TV series add to your life?
Television series, of course, added experience and recognition at first. Every set I was in, every character I played was like a school for me. Luckily, I took part in long-running serials. That’s why I had the opportunity to improve myself in each department. At the same time, I had the opportunity to see myself on the screen every week and correct my mistakes.
4, Which is your favorite TV serial character?
All of them , it’s impossible for me to distinguish. Every character I play is my apple of the eye, I added a piece of myself to every character. Every role I play has a large share in my self-development, my experiences and most importantly my self-discovery. Since I have been acting since I was very young, I grew up with the characters I played in every period of my life. So it’s all my precious
5, You continue to attract great attention in the country and abroad by playing the role of malhun Hatun in the establishment osman TV series, was there any point that forced you during the shooting?
Of course, it would be a lie if I said that I didn’t have a hard time in the action scenes at first. Because I didn’t have a pre-series training process. I joined the show in the middle of the season. That’s why I had no previous experience in this kind of action scenes, so it forced me a little at first .
6, how is your daily routine going?
Set, set, set … We have a busy life from September to June. We shoot some of it in 5-6 days, and in the remaining 1-2 days, I try to deal with my accumulated work, spend time with my wife, spare time for my friends and fulfill my own personal needs.
7, what are your hobbies?
I love spending time in nature. I am a total nature lover. That’s why I love hiking and camping. I love traveling and seeing other cultures and geography. I love watching movies. Horror movies and science fiction are my favorite genres. I’ve set up a whole series, the number of series I haven’t watched is low. I love painting glass. A very nice tool to rest my mind. Sometimes I love to listen to music for hours on the beach, and sometimes to sit alone and read a book with the sound of the waves.
8,Do you plan to come to Dubai?
Well, I’m thinking of coming, but I didn’t have any luck ,We are working very hard. As I said, the season for us starts in September and ends in June. During this period, there is not much opportunity to take a vacation. Inshallah, if you invite me to write, why not .
9.we are fashion-oriented magazine. What does fashion mean to you?
I like to follow fashion and have knowledge about it. but when I put it into practice, I actually like to be more original. I like to choose the pieces that fit me and that I can carry. My comfort usually comes first.
