Fluent in 5 Languages, he has Grad- uations from Milano and Paris Universities and from the reputed London School of Economics as well. An Italian by birth, yet holding British and Swiss passports, a Film co-producer, a Business man and a Fashion monger. He has acknowledged the innate desire for fashion we all have, as an expression of ourselves and a mode of celebrating the inclines of individuality. Mr. Antonio Rubel, has been experiencing the pulse of the fashion industry in the Middle East for the last 7 years. As the patron of 9 fashion weeks – Dubai, Beirut Fashion Week, Riyad Fashion Week, and Al Arabia Fashion Days – his vast knowledge and expertise in fashion event production stimulated the idea of the Middle East Fashion Week. He visualizes and aims this show to be a unique one in all its way.
Together, with the governance of the Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), President Antonio Rubel will anchor his vast experience in running over 12 seasons of fashion events to promote the MEFW as the region’s internationally recognized Fashion Week event.
MEFW comes up with the most professional and ethical exposure for Middle Eastern and international designers-pitching them to the forefront of the fashion industry.
